Where the data comes from
OpenBT data comes from BitTorrent resource information shared on the public DHT network and is organized for users to search and view.
Public discoverability does not establish that content is lawful, accurate, complete, or continuously available. OpenBT does not guarantee the authenticity of external metadata.
Fields that pages may display
Resource identity
Infohash, name, and other basic information used to identify a record.
Structure
File paths, individual sizes, total size, file count, and extensions.
Index information
Indexed date, keyword highlighting, and search result counts.
Processing and limits
- Duplicate records or records with the same identifier may be merged or updated.
- Unrecognized or clearly invalid resource information may not be displayed.
- Search results may lag behind the current state of the public network.
- Items with a size of 0 are shown as folders, so some empty files may be misclassified.
- Search results and detail pages may show only some files.
